| Everyone,
no matter what age, loves a good story. The magic of storytelling
has been around as long as humans could communicate with each
other.
Peter and Pat Dargin have told stories in
NSW, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.
They have presented Professional Development sessions to conferences,
teachers, librarians, Family Day Carers, TAFE and universities.
They produce Learning Language and U2 Can Tell Stories—a
range of simple literacy and storytelling resources.

Making •
Telling Stories - An Australian Story Program
by Peter Dargin
Making • Telling Stories provides
practical advice to teachers, librarians and anyone
interested in the craft of making, remembering and telling
stories to infants and adults. There are well structured
examples of The Three Billy Goats Gruff and Stone Soup
in Australian settings. The author takes a personal
view of Australian stories and telling, developing his
theme through Aboriginal Creation Lore to fact, fiction
and fantasy of the Great Grey-green Darling River.
